Hello there! We’re a small, soul-led marketing consultancy in Bedfordshire and we work with businesses who are big on making a positive difference to people, places and the planet.

In a world where everyone has a platform, we help our clients maximise their marketing so they become more visible and increase their reach and profitability.

We do this by being present, leaning in and getting to know who you are and what you do. Because we believe a purpose-led business like yours deserves time and attention. To us, you’re never a faceless client on our to-do list.

What we don’t do is take a cookie-cutter approach, churning out the

same old strategy for each and every client.

What we’re great at doing is using our experience working with other organisations and businesses to adopt what’s worked well for them and recommend how something similar could work for you. And if it doesn’t? We’re positively brimming with new ideas and different directions to take you!

Soul PR was founded by Anne Walsh. Her career led her from a degree in journalism (she admits she’s super nosey!) to client-side comms roles and 12 years as PR and social media director at a Milton Keynes-based digital agency.

She set up her own business in September 2023 so she could work with the kind of impact-led businesses she loves and fulfil her uncontrollable urge to tell everyone about their amazing work.

Meet the team

Founder - Soul PR

Anne Walsh

With my background in marketing, PR and social media, I set up Soul PR in September 2023 so I could work with the kind of impactful businesses I love.

When I’m not helping my lovely clients, I volunteer at my local Forest School (I’m all for running around in the woods like I’m five again!) and taking my dog, Minnie, along to the monthly get-togethers I set up so local business owners could talk and walk (yep, I called it Soul Netwalk!).

What you should really know about me

I’m stupidly spontaneous and have a tendency to say “F*** it! Let’s do it!”

Carys Underwood

Freelance Associate

I’ve worked in the PR and marketing sector for over 30 years and love using my expertise in content writing and social media management to help Soul PR’s clients.

My favourite city is New York – I’ve been 13 times and counting. Back home, I like to walk my dog Stanlee (named after the Marvel creator Stan Lee) to help clear my head and get creative.

My background is in HR, where I had a variety of internal comms and project management roles. I now do social media management for both Soul PR and their clients.

I love cooking (savoury not sweet!),

I spent 20 years as a freelance journalist before switching to copywriting so no surprises that I write words for Soul PR’s clients. I also have my own copywriting business at www.trumpetmedia.co.uk

I love food (roast lamb and rhubarb crumble – drool!), fairy lights and foraging in charity shops for vintage handbags.

What you should really know about me?

I’m a prolific swearer and power-napper.

We also have some rather lovely people who work with us on branding, photography, videography, podcasts, PPC and web design.

Whenever you need them, we’ll happily introduce you!
